Nordic Youth Summer Institute is a youth project initiated by a group of individuals from Iceland, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark directed to educate youths in the Nordic region in international politics, diplomacy and Nordic cooperation. The program is open to 4 individuals between age 15 to 18 per participating country.
Between July 18 and 29th, the youths will stay in Södertälje, Sweden and take part in workshops, cultural activities, parliament tours, and meetings with individuals from the region relevant to the Nordic cooperation. At the end of the program, the course will have served the participating delegates the dual purpose of both being an educating source of inspiration, as well as having been a place to make ties with the future leaders and decisionmakers in the Nordic region of tomorrow.
Dear NYSI family,
We are sad to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances NYSI will have to be postponed this year. However, we, the NYSI – team, will be setting our sights on the future and will be using this year to continue to work at improving the institute for 2020.
We want to thank everyone that has helped us throughout the years and been supportive of the Institute. We look forward to the summer of 2020!
